1.3. Dusi 2017 will be a K1 championship year.
1.4. Paddler 1 on the entry form must be the driver of the boat in the case of a K2. Either paddlers number may be on the boat.
1.5. NO cheques acceptable.
1.6. WE DO NOT ACCEPT REGISTERED MAIL.
1.7. NO REFUNDS. NCC has a policy of not permitting refunds on entry fees.

2. CLOSING DATES
2.1. Entries must reach the Dusi Secretary on or before – 18 January 2017.
2.2. If an entry is received after the closing time and date, a late entry fee of R150 will be enforced and will not be processed until the correct fee has been received.
2.3. Check web-site for confirmation of entry here.
2.4. Changes in class or partners are permissible until – TBC, an administration fee of R100 will be charged.
3. REGISTRATION/GOODIE BAG COLLECTION
You will be required to register between 9am and 6pm, on Wednesday 15 February 2017 at the NCC Clubhouse, Camps Drift, Pietermaritzburg only.
PLEASE do not expect to collect goodie bags before that time!
4. PERMANENT DUSI NUMBERS
Permanent number stickers are awarded each year to all paddlers who have completed 10 Dusis.
5. DUSI ACHIEVERS AWARDS
5.1. A TEN YEAR EMBROIDERED DUSI CAP will be available at Registration to those entrants who have completed 10 Dusis or more and have never received one before.
5.2. A SPECIAL 20 YEAR GOLF SHIRT with an embroidered logo will be awarded to all finishers completing their 20th Dusi.
5.3. A SPECIAL 30 YEAR JACKET will be awarded to all finishers completing their 30th Dusi. This will be done at the main prize giving.
6. AGE LIMIT
Entries will only be accepted from qualified paddlers already 15 years of age or older on 1 January 2017. The organisers will not make any compromises on age.
7. MARKETING AND ADVERTISING
7.1. By entering the event, all paddlers consent to their entry information being made accessible to sponsors who may use this information for direct marketing or other marketing purposes.
7.2. Any photographs, video or TV images, or any other form of media information obtained during the event including results, may be used by the event organizers or the sponsors for marketing and advertising purposes. Such media material may be altered at the sponsors or event organizers discretion and may be used free of charge in any form.
