There is just a week to go to the 2023 Dusi Canoe Marathon! The seeding races have given us a solid glimpse of the talent lining up to challenge for places on the podiums, and the entries from men and women who warm to the challenge of Africa's Great Canoeing Adventure continue to pour into the race office.

The race will commemorate the eight adventurers who set off just before Christmas 1951 to paddle from Alexandra Park in Pietermaritzburg to Durban. Ian Player was the only finisher and the first Dusi champion, and the Dusi legacy was born.

The Campbell's Farm to Dusi Bridge race was our last seeding race, and completes the process of front row seeding, details of which can be found here:

Normal entries are still open! These close at midnight on Friday, after which late entries will be opened, right up to race registration, at a late entry penalty.

Every entrant will get an entry into our lucky draw for prizes from Kayak Craft and Gara Racing Paddles. You have to be at the prize giving when the draw is done to claim your prize.
