Now well reeded up Dogs Leg is a right hand bend on the outskirts of Durban that poses few problems. As with any sharp corner it is best approached from the centre/right on the inside of the river flow.
Immediately after the turn there is a rocky drop on river left that will be easily skirted by taking the inside (right) hand line down the main rapid.
