The sinisterly named series of rapids can cause carnage at a full level when it becomes fast and unforgiving. It is very important to decide well before halfway down the rapid whether you are going to exit left or centre-right. Both are viable options but both require different lines.
This section starts meekly enough but builds in intensity. If you find yourself left and looking to go left, it requires some steady steering and positive paddling through to the left turn that exits the rapid.
The central option requires starting right of centre, moving centre and then boldly into the exit right of centre.
It is great fun at a lower level when there is more time to pick lines elegantly down Graveyard, while a fuller river tends to lure paddlers to flirt with some of the big rocks in play here.
