A fun series of easy channels lead to the bridge over the N3 freeway. Immediately beyond this is a rapid that has gradually developed in size as it has become more overgrown and channeled. The best line is down the middle, a little left of centre, following the main flow of water into a simple one-off drop.
If the river is big there is an option down a channel on the right, but this needs to be handled carefully as there is a big rock at the bottom of that channel! This right hand channel is slower and riskier and should only considered in a full river.

The racing line is down the centre but the more conservative line is down the very right. This is a very good one to practice in the afternoon of the day before the race. |

This is a lovely rapid. There is usually lots of water so stay on the far right and you won’t get wet at all. There is a big drop in the middle. |
