Ibis to Dip Walk and race an ideal opportunity to learn Dusi Day Two

This weekend is an ideal chance for FNB Dusi novices and pros alike to get onto the Second Day and learn the river and the portages, under the guidance of multiple Dusi champs Ant Stott and Popes Canoe Centre boss Owen Hemmingway.

POPE’S CANOE CENTRE WALK:
Date: Saturday 14 November 2015
Time: Meet at 05h30, leave at 05h45 sharp.
Meet: Stella Members, The Popes Canoe Centre racing team Ant Stott & Owen Hemmingway at the Cato Ridge Freys Meats (Down R103 to the end, parking on right hand side at Abattoir)
Bring: Hat, sunscreen, old running shoes, drinks and SECONDS/DRIVERS, and some cash for a traditional Shebeen visit!
Drive: To Dusi Bridge for a talk then onto Saddles.
Route: Run / walk from Saddles to Umfula store, stopping along the way to show you the rapids and which lines to take. (Should be finished about lunchtime)
