ENTRY INFORMATION
INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANTS
All entrants need to ensure that if they have been sick (including Covid-19), that they have either consulted a medical practitioner or feel confident they are able to handle the rigorous nature of the Dusi Canoe Marathon.
INTERNATIONAL ENTRIES
In order to enter as an International Paddler you need to purchase an International licence.
There are two such licenses.
- FOREIGN PADDLER
As a paddler currently registered with the ICF affiliated canoe federation in your country of residence with no Canoeing South Africa registration number.
Click on the entry link below or go to http://canoesa.com. Go to the Paddler Portal. Select Register. And then follow the instructions to register yourself on the system and establish a Login.
Then from the Menu select Buy/Renew Licence and purchase a Senior or Junior International Foreign Paddler Licence. There is a nominal R30 fee. Your application will go to the CSA Admin office for approval. If there are any problems they will contact you. - As a paddler currently registered with the ICF affiliated canoe federation in your country of residence WITH AN EXISTING Canoeing South Africa registration number.
Click on the entry link below or go to http://canoesa.com. Go to the Paddler Portal. Select Login. And then follow the instructions to establish a Login.
Then from the Menu select first Profile and update your personal information. Then Buy/Renew Licence and renew a Senior or Junior International Foreign Paddler Licence. There is a nominal R30 fee. Your application will go to the CSA Admin office for approval. If there are any problems they will contact you.
EXPAT RSA PADDLER
As an Expat RSA paddler currently NOT registered with the ICF affiliated canoe federation in your country of residence, but with a Canoeing South Africa registration number.
Click on the entry link below or go to http://canoesa.com Go to the Paddler Portal. Select Login and then follow the instructions to establish a Login.
Then from the Menu select first Profile and update your personal information โ Make sure that you select INTERNATIONAL as your club, then Buy/Renew Licence and renew a Senior or Junior International Expat RSA Paddler Licence. There is a fee of R145/Junior and R395/Senior for this. Your application will go to the CSA Admin office for approval. If there are any problems they will contact you.
